Milo Jacob Manheim was born on March 6, 2001 in Venice, Los Angeles, California to Camryn Manheim, an actress, and Jeffrey Brezovar, a former model. He grew up spending a major part of his childhood on sets, where he found his passion for acting, even at such a young age. He began performing on stage in Culver City, California at the age of seven in an after school program, soon finding himself performing for Liza Monjauze Productions where he would perform in fifteen musicals, which included Footloose, A Chorus Line, Spring Awakening, and Gypsy. He was awarded Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role at the 2017 New York Musical Theater Festival for his performance in the musical Generation . Milo was discovered while starring as Roger Davis in a production of Rent by casting director Amber Horn to audition for a new Disney Channel musical.

Milo made his television debut as Riley in an episode of Ghost Whisperer, performing with his mother Camryn, in 2009. After heading into his first Hollywood audition, he booked the lead role as Zed Necrodopolis, a zombie football player, in the 2018 Disney Channel musical Z-O-M-B-I-E-S. He quickly made a four-episode appearance on the ABC sitcom American Housewife, playing the role of Pierce. He even went on to compete on season 27 of Dancing with the Stars, coming in second place with partner Witney Carson. He was also a contestant on an episode of Celebrity Family Feud with his mother and other members of his family. Milo returned to the role of Riley in Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2, where Zed and Addison’s budding romance is threatened by the arrival of werewolves at their high school, in 2020. He would also go on to voice Phil and Clarence for The Pack Podcast, a short comedy podcast series, which also included George Wendt and Jennifer Tilly. Milo even voiced his role of Zed in the animated short series Addison’s Moonstone Mystery, alongside his Z-O-M-B-I-E-S cast.

In 2021, he had a three-episode guest appearance in the third season of The Conners as Josh before returning to the character Zed for Addison’s Monster Mystery animated mini series, as well as Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3 (2022), where he served as a co-producer. Milo went on to star opposite Peyton Elizabeth Lee for the Disney Channel movie Prom Pact as Ben Plunkett in 2023. The romantic comedy follows a feminist who doesn’t believe in the idea of following in love who begins falling for someone she has undeniable chemistry with. He joined the second season of Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. as Nico, appearing in six of the ten episodes. Milo’s next series premiered on March 4th, where he stars as Wally Clark alongside Peyton List. Paramount+’s School Spirits follows a teen stuck in the afterlife investigating her own disappearance, goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to high school purgatory. The series has already been picked up for a second season and will be premiering in 2024.

His upcoming projects include Journey to Bethlehem, a live-action musical that weaves classic Christmas melodies into new pop songs in a music-infused retelling of the timeless story of Mary and Joseph and the birth of Jesus. Milo stars as Joseph alongside Antonio Banderas and Antonio Cantos and is being released on November 10, 2023. He and his mother will be featured in Generations, the first Jewish-themed genealogy television series produced by the Museum of Jewish Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, JewishGen, and JLTV. The series premieres this fall. He will also star in Thanksgiving, based on the fake grindhouse trailer. The thriller releases November 17, 2023 and also stars Patrick Dempsey and Addison Rae. He will also return to his role of Zed in ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series, the animated series is currently in post-production. The musical Road to Bethlehem is currently in production, where Milo portrays San José with Antonio Banderas.

In his spare time, Milo enjoys playing the drums, piano, guitar, and ukulele, as well as various wind instruments. He also plays soccer, volleyball, and skis.

He donates his time to community service and charities, following in his family’s footsteps. He became an advocate for teen suicide prevention after his role in Generation Me. Organizations Milo teams up with include Bread & Roses Restaurant, Pediatric Aids, Poker for Puppies, Buy Life, and Foster Cares. He has also volunteered with Venice Family Clinic, helping provide health care to low-income families. He even contributed to former President Obama’s 2008 campaign, raising money through a lemonade stand. Milo is involved in Robert Kennedy Jr.’s Waterkeeper Alliance, which fights for clean water globally, and also participates in Chords2Cure, a non-profit benefiting pediatric cancer research.
